Greta Lou (they/elle/ella) is a queer poet-organizer. They grew up creating worlds in the forests of rural Vermont (unceded Abenaki land). They also roam the prairies near Minneapolis, Minnesota (unceded Dakota and Ojibwe land) and the mountains of Guatemala (unceded Maya, Xinka, and Garífuna land) while writing new visions for this world.
Greta’s work explores themes of family, place, community, art, social justice, climate change, (queer) relationships, and more-than-human life.
